A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SURVEY MAPPING ASSISTANT MANAGER
As a Survey Mapping Manager you will work with clients to provide survey mapping services. You will be the main point of contact for our clients for survey mapping projects. You will prepare and/or review subdivision maps, legal descriptions, boundary plats/surveys, Condominium Plans, ALTA surveys, Record of Surveys, and Corner Records. You will communicate with and coordinate your services with the client, client's attorneys and public agencies. The position requires strong knowledge of mapping and surveying principles and practices that can be applied to unusual or complex mapping assignments. Your responsibilities will include preparing scopes of work and fee estimates, managing projects including monitoring project budgets. You will also work closely with PDC's engineers as you coordinate surveying services. Your good communication skills, efficiency, accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism ensure your success at Project Design Consultants.
• Land Surveyor license, preferred.
• AutoCAD experience - Civil 3D required.
• 5-10 years' experience with managing survey mapping projects.
The typical schedule for this position is full-time with either a standard work week schedule or an alternate schedule of four 9 hour days and a half day on Friday.
