A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

Responsible for coordinating /assigning work to SCE Land Survey field crews and supports mapping team as mapping deliverable is prepared.
Produces/reviews research, survey instructions and assigns work to field crews
Analyzes land, cadastral, geodetic surveys, and right of way engineering.
Develops Survey specifications and advises on Land Surveying area of responsibility (AOR).
Makes decisions, advises manager and Survey crews with Land Surveying course of action, strategies and efficiencies that support Company/ departmental business unit needs.
Analyzes and performs QA/QC of deliverables prepared by Contractors to ensure they meet CA Laws, SCE accuracy standards, and Survey principles. (CA Subdivision Map Act, CA Land Surveyors Act, Board Rules, ALTA Requirements etc.)
Assists Land Survey manager with the development, revisions and enforcement of Land Survey standards and procedures.
