Re: Entry Level Surveyor / State of California
I thought I would first refresh this opportunity with the State Lands Commission. Also, I wanted to let those interested know that we have also extended the final filing date for the Exam. You have until September 19th to apply. The exam consists of your State Application and a Qualifications Self Assessment. To reiterate, this is an entry-level position with the California State Lands Commission. It is a great way to get started in a career in Land Surveying. We work with our staff to help educate them and give them numerous opportunities to learn what is needed to first obtain your LSIT and then your LS. Our surveyors work on a multitude of projects throughout the State. We are also involved in every facet of project work from inception to field surveys to mapping. This position, while having some specific office-associated work, allows for telework opportunities. If you have any questions please get in touch with me via DM or you can find my contact information on our website.
