Wooley Seminar in Marin

Post by LA Stevens »

Rob,

Sorry you missed out!

Dave W. gave a great presentation. He's a very dynamic speaker and we covered a great amount of information. Very few war stories - instead he kept plugging along with facts.

I would highly recommend this seminar to anyone working in the surveying profession. Everyone went from my office and said it was very worthwhile. Someone really should tape his seminar and distribute it to the folks within the profession which don't believe in continuing education or can't seem to make it because of logistical problems.

He condensed his course (I think originally about 8-10 weeks) to an 8 hour class.

The seminar was sold out for the venue we had - about 65 people. Not sure of the final numbers but was truly a success for our Eugene Lockton Scholarship Fund. The local chapter members took seats in the back to allow the visiting guests a seat at the tables. It was nice to have it in a smaller more personal setting.
