With regards to Pauls remark...
"..........I think he is the one that swiped my coffee......."
As I remember that day, I thought for sure that no one noticed me taking that coffee. Oh well.

Sitting at my kitchen table, early March 1990. Issued March 7, 1990. I didn't actually receive the certificate until the following March.Peter Ehlert wrote:Chapter 15, Division 3. Issued April 21, 1982
my exam was Halloween day 1981, it was one Very Long day!
I got one of the mail it in exams. I understand that 1991 was the last year that exam was used.

Since there is no authority to issue a license for land surveying under Chapter 7, all those licenses claiming to have been issued pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 7 are invalid.
You all have been practicing without a valid licence all these years!
Since the Board is always concerned about funding, you can expect a citation with the requested "corrected" certificate.
Let's see... invalid license issued in 1990; just to choose a reasonable number, figure an average of 50 surveys, reports, etc. issued under assumed authority of invalid license; nominal fine of $500 per occurrence of unlicensed practice...
2013 - 1990 = 23 years
23 x 50 = 1150 occurrences
1150 x $500 = $575,000
$575,000 x # of invalid licenses = Kaching! Non-General Fund dunding for the next 5 to 10 years!
Just a random thought...

I wish they'd quit monkeying with the name.
(I don't know if the first one was ever official, but like Dave, it's what my license says.)
