Subdividing Surveyor / Monumenting Surveyor

Post by Jim Frame »

I'm working on a ROS that involves a 1994 (I think -- the Recorder's Certificate omitted the year!) subdivision that's signed by Surveyor A, but prior to construction Surveyor B took it over and set all the monuments. I'd like to reference the document effecting the change in surveyors, but I don't recall what that document is called and where it's filed. Can someone refresh my memory?

Thanks!

P.S. We recently changed from a seasoned County Surveyor to a very part-time County Surveyor who's still learning his way around, so questions like this that I used to be able to resolve with a quick phone call now leave me adrift.

I believe a Certificate of Correction should have been recorded indicating the change of surveyor who is resonsible charge.

That's it -- I just needed to remember what kind of document to search for. Found it, thanks!
