Survey Technician (Survey Apprentice)

RBF Consulting, a company of Michael Baker International, is seeking a Survey Apprentice to join our Surveying Geomatics team in Temecula, CA.
The Survey Apprentice responsibilities will include:
·Assist in performing field surveying for various Southern California active survey projects.
·Assist the Party Chief with construction staking, topographic mapping, and ALTA and boundary surveying.
·Assist the Party Chief in staking calculations and field engineering, The Survey Apprentice will training in the maintenance and operation of Trimble GPS and Geodimeter Robotic instruments.
Requirements:
·High school diploma or GED
·Minimum of three years of field surveying experience
·Enrolled in the Surveyors Apprenticeship Program sponsored by the Union of Operating Engineers Local 12
·Successful completion of Algebra & Geometry classes
·Relevant computer skills
