The Placer County Department of Community Development Resource Agency (CDRA) is now accepting applications for Surveyor - Assistant.

Surveyor - Assistants perform a variety of professional land surveying activities both in the office and the field. They also provide information and assistance to the public in person, by telephone, or in the field. Lastly, the Surveyor - Assistant will exercise technical and functional supervision over technical and professional staff as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Required License or Certificate: Possession of a Land Surveyor in Training Certificate.
• Experience: Two years of responsible professional surveying experience.
• Training: Equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited college with major course work in engineering, surveying or a related field.
Note: Relevant, equivalent experience (performing the same or similar job requiring similar knowledge, skills, and abilities) may be substituted for the required education as determined by the Human Resources Department. Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
