The Turlock Irrigation District located in the Central Valley, California is seeking an experienced Survey Technician ready to take a role as party chief with the District Survey/Right of Way Division.

Established in 1887, the Turlock Irrigation District (TID) was the first irrigation district in the state. Today it is one of only four in California that also provides electric retail energy directly to homes, farms and businesses.

TID delivers irrigation water to approximately 150,000 acres of farmland. In addition, TID owns and operates an integrated and diverse electric generation, transmission and distribution system that serves a population of approximately 240,000 within a 662 square-mile area. The TID Survey/Right of Way Division is responsible for boundary surveys, topographic mapping, construction staking, industrial/plant surveys, GIS, and right-of-way acquisition associated with our electrical and irrigation infrastructure, as well as the deformation monitoring of Don Pedro and La Grange Dams.
