RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as GPS, 3D scanners, and total stations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, including notes, sketches, and reports.
- CAD experience is a plus (not required)
- Collaborate with engineers and project surveyors to discuss project requirements and timelines.
- Train junior staff on surveying techniques and equipment operation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all surveying activities.
- Experience in land surveying with an understanding of surveying principles.
- Proficiency in software such as Trimble Access, Civil 3D is a plus, and Microsoft for data collection, staking, drafting, and data downloads/analysis.
- Experience with 3D scanning technology is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work performed.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record is required for travel to job sites.
- Prolonged periods of standing & walking.
- Interacting with technology (computer, cellphone, etc.)
- Ability to lift and/or carry items up to 75 lbs.
- Driving or flying - to offices, jobsites, client meetings, etc.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
