Valley Water (Santa Clara Valley Water District) is looking for a summer intern for its Land Surveying and Mapping Unit. This is a great opportunity to understand how land surveying is an integral part of the water storage and delivery process. Valley Water surveyors perform work such as topographic surveys, monitoring, aerial & terrestrial LiDAR, as well as creating deliverables associated with those surveys. This is a great opportunity for those looking to become future surveyors or engineers.

Have you reached out to Evergreen Community College, or even SJ State, engineering dept.?
Evergreen use to teach surveying classes, and getting a young engineer from SJS may get them to jump careers, just saying.
