$75
Filing of a ROS and notice of mechanics liens are not real estate transactions
Applying it to ROS is a tax on licensed surveyors who are required by statute to file them at their sole cost

And it sucks to pay a tax statewide for housing in San Francisco. They should have a local tax on salaries over $150,000 because it is the ultra high paid employees of Google, Facebook, Apple, Saleforce, Twitter etc. that are jacking up the housing prices across the bay area. People from Modesto shouldn't be forced to pay this.

Michael,
I've got a two bedroom cardboard shack outside of Mexico City, complete with a pitbull dog and handgun for protection that I can sell to you for a song and dance. I'll forward the deed when I see you on Dancing With The Stars.

Tax the working serf to give to those that refuse to work and, as discovered in the OC homeless debacle, prefer to sit around and do drugs, free drugs in SF.

Is there a lot of homeless that used to work, yes but not all, many prefer to live "free" as they say it. Why the number of homeless that used to work? We have allowed businesses that used to be here move outside the USA, mostly China, build their products with slave labor, no labor laws, no anti pollution laws, no OSHA, and bring these produces back here and sell them at the same or higher prices and laugh all the way to the bank. By buying these products we are contributing to uncontrolled global pollution. Banning plastic bags and putting smog controls on lawnmower engines in CA is not gonna put a dent in the pollution that China, and other 3rd world toilets, produce daily and China's air pollution is carried right here to Calif via natural air currants. NAFTA and other "free trade" agreements are killing the USA. If more people had jobs more people would live in houses, Count the number of auto assembly plants that existed in Ca as late as 1970's and count the one's here now. The $15min wage is reducing jobs left and right, this has happened every time the min wage has been increased and was put into effect, Read all about it from Berkley Fellow Thomas Sowell.

I'm going to use that! Don't know when or where, but it's too good not to.
