It looks like the License Lookup was updated, now the last number is 8884. I believe appeals were on 8/11?? Have they been approved then?

What is the new High Number?

About this time 20 years ago, it was in the High 6300's or low 6400's. IMSM.

BTW, I got mine that year in March. The rest of the bunch had to wait till June.

It appears 8884 is the current "high".

I can't imagine that the appeals would have been processed and the database updated within 8 days of the appeal date.

I am still waiting for the results of my appeal.

That's why I was surprised that the numbers 8882, 8883, and 8884 were added on there later.

Maybe they forgot to turn in their take-home test when they applied, about the only thing I can think of.

When I took it the whole thing was a take home test for me. 21 Years ago, COMITY/RECIPROCITY, already been licensed in another state for 3 years. A couple of years later they changed the rules again.

Anyone know how long it takes for them to 'grade' the appeals? I've heard that it could be in November, but there were only about 17 of us in Riverside appealling.

The appeals grading generally happens 2 to 4 weeks after the examinees' appeals session. Results then have to be approved by the Board at their next regular meeting.

I expect that those results will likely be available shortly after the September 8 Board meeting with notifications going out mid-month.

The only reason I can think of why they might be delayed until November would be if there was something preventing the Board staff from scheduling appeals grading before the end of August.

James Burke of EBMUD passed upon appeal and received his notice Saturday.

Jim credits Chris Bateman's letter posted on this forum and the Sacramento Chapter LS appeal strategy seminar with helping him to use his 8 hours wisely and formulate sound arguments.

Looks like the new high LS number is 8898 after appeals. Congrats to the new new PLS's in CA.

I am happy that letter is still able to do some good ... Sorry I have been absent during the appeal study time. Congrats to all my apellate brothers and sisters!!
