National Land Surveyors Week
March 15 - 21, 2009

On behalf of CLSA, 2008 President Jim Herrick attended a special presentation before the legislature in which Land Surveyors Week was recognized.

Attached is a handbook offering suggestions on what you can do to help celebrate and promote Land Surveyors Week.

What are YOU going to do?

I will be attending night classes at Sac City College, teaching another, encouraging student participation in professional societies, and sending in my dues to the ACSM Northen California Section...

If I get a copy of the NSW proclomation, I will have it enlarged, and display it in the lobby of the building where I work.

A copy of the proclamation would have been nice to have for today, since National Surveyors Week started yesterday.

What is the status of getting a PDF today?

Looks like we will be getting some recognition on the radio Tuesday morning, hopefully before 7 a.m. so I can hear it on my way into the office.

San Jose radio station KRTY, 95.3 FM and my friendship with some DJ's, said they will make mention of it!
