I found an old copy of the BLM PLSS Case Book in our office. I scanned the book as several PDF files and placed them online.

You can now download them here:

http://www.redefinedhorizons.com/community_survey.html

There is also a link in that same section to some paper's by Jerry Wahl. That web page is a treasure I only recently discovered.

Please let me know if you have trouble with the PDF files.

I think it's also available on the BLM website.

Can you post a link?

PLS7809:

The copy I found on the BLM website had been chopped up to fit on letter size pages. If there is a PDF of the full size sheets online, could you post the link? (If you know where it is.)

In this case I will remove my file and will link to the BLM copy directly.

I will remove my copy of the case book.

Jerry,

Thanks for the links. I will remove the copy of the casebook from my webserver and will add the links you posted on this thread to my web page instead.

Thank you for the effort.

Come to the OC CLSA Auction on 8-13-09

An 11x17 reduction of the Case Book will be available to the highest bidder at Thursday Night's OC-CLSA annual auction. It is handsomely bound in an 11x17 three-ring blue binder, and the pdf has been cropped to remove the black borders which show up in the original pdf file. It is readable at this scale (approx 60% full size) and is easier to store than the full size print.

Lots of other items will be there as well, including:
Trimble 4000SE GPS,
Sokkia Set2110 total station,
Topcon Total Station,
Angel’s baseball tickets,
42â€￾ LG flat Screen,
Margarita basket,
Bronze coin commemorating the Land Ordinance of 1785
Breed and Hosmer - Elementary and Higher Surveying books (1940s)
Proof copies of "Federal Land Boundary Cases and Codes" and "California Land Boundary Cases and Codes"
and much, much more.

Proceeds go to scholarships.

It will be at JT Schmid's in Anaheim, not at First American.
If you cant make it call one of the chapter officers and give them your bid.

Hope to see you there,
Tom Propst, L.S. 6098
