Anybody have a user manual packed away in a box, in the basement or closet for this data collector? I picked this up on eBay. First sold in probably 1990. It is in excellent condition (photo attached if the model number does not ring a bell). I could probably figure it out by trial and error, but a copy of the manual would be very much appreciated. My post yesterday got some quick responses for the metal detector manual, so I thought I might cast my line (and luck) back in the pond...

Would appreciate any leads I could follow up on also!

Well I found the manual for the FC-4 and now know the purpose of all the various I/O ports. Now I need to find a cable that can connect the FC-4 to the Topcon ET-1 total station. Anyone know of a good source to find such a cable. I think it would be described as having a 6 pin male hirose jack on one end (FC-4) and a coaxial jack on the other (ET-1). See attached pictures to prevent me from needing to add another 1000 words...

Just guessing but Engineering Supply Co. could probably help you out with those cables. Do a google of “ESC”. Located in Concord.
