Hi,

This case just came down. There has been considerable discussion about the processing of lot line adjustments and the need, or lack thereof, for the owners to get everyone to sign off on the LLA. Many surveyors believe that if the city/county does not require it, it is not required as a matter of law or under the SMA. That's a mistake.

The cited case dealt with the insurance claim. Does anyone know how the court ruled on the effect of the LLA upon ownership of the disputed strip?
