Has anyone who passed the LS exam on the last go received their renewal forms yet? It's getting pretty close to the end of the year.

Aren't the renewal dates still staggered? Does your license indicate expiration on 12/31/10?

Mine isn't new, and it does expire 12/31/10. I just received something from BPELS in the mail yesterday, but haven't opened it yet. It seems about the right time to see a renewal notice.

12-31-10

is the expiration date for the new LS's. Sounds like they should be staggering in any time now. Thanks for the information.

As I recall, expiration dates are either 12/31, 3/31, 6/31, or 9/31. I have no idea how the month was arrived at for any particular individual, but if I had to guess, it would have to do with the order of licenses given out in any particular year, with 1/4 of the pool assigned to each quarter of the year for renewal. but that's just a guess.

I wish my license had an expiration date of 6/31 or 9/31, then I would never need to pay!!!

I think every new licensee is 12/31. When you go back to some of the older years the expirations change depending on when the license was issued, I think. Maybe the LS was offered more than once a year in the past sometime. Just speculation on my part, but I thought that all the licensees from the last 10 or 15 years are 12/31.

How can you say that six weeks prior to renewal is "close to the end of the year?" The Board has pleanty to do, but if you don't receive notice it is still your responsibility to contact the Board.

Hope you find this helpful.

Not going to pay just yet though. I want to get the most out of my 6 weeks. Thanks for all of the input.

But if it takes the Board 6 weeks to process, there might be a gap in your license.

It takes about 4 weeks to go from incoming mail to processed. It's better to send it in as soon as you get it.

I received my renewal notice last week. Already mailed it back with the $$.
I just got my license in July. Seems silly they already want me to renew it.
