This may sound crazy,

I believe that a parking lot can be "subdivided" into condo lots with the common area Lot "a" being the drive, planters etc.

Has anyone ever done this ???

My Only previous experience was to list and dedicate stalls For a specific condo conversion or Project.

This is a bit different ???? maybe ???

I see no reason why it can't be done in Ca.

(I have a cousin in NYC that bought one more than 10 years ago)

I've heard of a garage condo in the Silicon Valley where rich businessmen park their expensive hobby sports cars.

Why not extend the concept to parking spaces?

The question is: are parking spots at such a premium to make such a development economically feasible?

We have approved three dimensional commercial condo maps in West Hollywood that have included airspace parcels covering certain parts of the multilevel parking structure, in addition to the commercial building airspace.
