Historical Records Marin County

Last week I happened upon some new archiving in the Marin County Recorder's Office (Is Sonoma County's Steve L. giving some "pointers" to Marin? ha)
Presently there are four DVDs of interesting Historical information . . . some hidden survey treasures buried within.
If you practice in Marin or want to know when a surveyor was licensed (between 1909-1930) Marin has a copy of the original licensed land surveyor transmittal from the Surveyor General's Office. (Includes every County in the state whereby a licensee claimed to hang their hat.)

Cost: $41.63, plus $4.80 shipping. Four DVD's of history (most of it Marin)
If you're interested in the Licensed Surveyor's tranmittals list I'm sure Doug could cut just that file to DVD.
