I just came across these old HPGN Newsletters, so to go with the article in the Cal Surveyor, I am posting here for any interested in history.

Bob Nelson, John Fundus, Don D'Onofrio and I believe Larry Fenske too, did a great job of keeping everyone informed of the progress on this landmark survey. You have to admire the effort they went thru to make it happen.

Here is another HPGN timepiece, albeit a bit more quaint...
