internship demand

Dear Sirs,
I am currently in second year (on 3 years) of preparation at Bachelor of Engineering at the ESGT (school of surveyors and topographers) in FRANCE. I joined it after a degree in mathematics and physics. I chose this school because it offers a wide span of topics essential to the practice of the profession of surveyor. So, we are course on topography, GPS, geodesy, RVN (Roads and Varied Network), GIS (Geographic Information Systems), photogrammetry, hydraulics, hydrology and on laws of private and public properties. All these topics allow us to tackle different types of interventions properly.
Following my education and trainings, I would like to realize an internship in a surveyor’s office or in a design office. Moreover, my school requires an internship in an English speaking country for four weeks. So I would be pleased to do this training in a company of the United States, between June 25th and July 22th. However, if you prefer a longer course, it’s possible to agree upon an internship for 8 weeks between June and August.
I hope for this internship to allow me to work on different activities of the occupation. I could then develop and apply this knowledge and skills that I have acquired in subdivision maps, Highways and GIS. More precisely, I expect work on hydrographic survey or GIS to see how to happen this type of activity and I could apply my knowledge. I hope too work on residential surveys to compare your working methods with those I used during my internships in France. As example, site planning survey or topographic survey. Thus, this internship would give me a serious foreign experience.
If you are interested to accept me in internship, you can contact me at rom_corbier@hotmail.fr
I remain at your disposal to provide any additional information you deem necessary.
Sincerely yours,
Romain CORBIER
