Good afternoon.. We have had a vacancy occur in our survey section during one our busy season and, as such, we are requesting your help to broadcast the following announcement to the membership as well as posting it for the upcoming conference. The opening is immediate and any help you can provide in posting it promptly will be appreciated

[font=&quot]The City of Oakland has an immediate opening for a TEMPORARY position as a Chief of Field Party in the Survey section. [/font]

[font=&quot]This opening is limited to a 120 day position during which time the City will be accepting and processing applications for a PERMANENT employee. Someone accepting the temporary appointment will be encouraged to apply for the Permanent position.[/font]
