A client of mine has need of some surveying and engineering in Lake County, which is out of my area of operations. The project is single-family residential, and he'd like the same firm to do the surveying and engineering. Any recommendations?

I'm near the area about an hour. Any chance is this for a floodway study?
There is also Mike Consor Jr. Razika and associates and a few more I can not remember off the bat.

Adobe Associates out of Santa Rosa would be a good choice. Aaron Smith is one of the principle surveyors. They are also CE's and work quite a bit out in Lake County.


Another one your client could consider is Clark Stoner, who just moved to Sonoma County and has both licenses. I'm sure you have seen his posts on the forum.

I did some work up around Lakeport a couple years ago. Interesting little lakefront residential job.

A bit of a drive, but beautiful country. I could do it if the job is interesting.

Being that this thread is a marketing opportunity I would like to put my companies name into the hat. I have extensive experience in Lake County and work with and team with several civil engineers that also have many years experience in the unincorporated areas of Lake County and in the different city jurisdictions. I would be glad to discuss your client(s) project to assess the scope and how I can be of help. If I can’t or choose not to take on the project I can recommend someone would is qualified and able to take it on. I would also recommend contacting the Lake/Mendocino CLSA Chapter.
