In memoriam, Bill Telling, PLS

We regret to pass along the news that Bill Telling, CA LS 8192, passed away this morning. Bill was currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Sacramento Chapter. He served as a Chapter Rep. He was a member of the CLSA Education Foundation and the Education and Workshop Committee.

Bill worked for a number of companies, locally, over the years, after moving here from New Jersey.

Bill was a valued and influential member of our chapter and our profession.

He will be missed.

Bill is survived by his wife, Carrie, a daughter and two step-sons.

A memorial service will be held July 28th at 1 PM. Details concerning location will be added shortly.

A scholarship will be established in Bill's name through the State CLSA Education Foundation. The family requests donations to the scholarship in lieu of flowers or other remembrances.

I am proud to say that I knew Bill, served with him as a Chapter Representative and considered him a friend.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill's family and friends. Both my wife and I knew Bill. His contributions to the profession were many and he will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held July 28th at 2:00 PM, at the Sierra View Funeral Chapel 6201 Fair Oaks Boulevard, Carmichael, just east of Sacramento.

I was out of state, on the road when I heard the news. I'm saddened and somewhat shocked. I'll miss visiting with Bill at Chapter functions and at the annual conference.
