I need to buy a used copy of Autocad 14 and softdesk 8 for a small non-profit horse rescue ranch project, we have a budget, but it's a small budget.
We can't afford a full up-version of autocad civil 3d, that's $7000.
if you could help that would be greatly appreciated.

Under current civil case law, it is not legal to sell a used copy of ANY AutoDesk product. AutoDesk will try to civilly and criminally prosecute anyone who does so if they find out about such a transaction.
It is all in the licensing agreement.

They still can't doing anything about gifts.
Of course, even if it is a brand new product, if it has been previously used they can refuse to support it unless you purchase that support.

Old Autocad software
The licenses are in fact not transferable. Believe me I tried. Assuming you chanced upon an unregistered copy it will only run for 30 days without being registered with Autodesk with a never before used key code and serial number from Autodesk. Your chances are better at winning the Loto.
Occasionally you can find an older computer for sale with the software you want already installed... sometimes just a hard drive that the licensee didn't remove the software from as they're suppose to. Generally you are allowed to install the software on 2 computers, as in one for the office and a laptop in the field.
Don't bother with Ebay as they take down ads for Autocad software in compliance with the law. Autodesk has been sued, lost and won on appeal. They sell a non-transferable license, not the software.
What type of computer and operating system are you using? I looked for my old manuals for Autocad 10 and DCA... must have discarded them. Still looking for my version 14 manuals if you still need them.
