I recently received a copy of this book from a co-worker. Interesting book.

The book is 73 pages and runs through cases related to the following: trespass, encroaching roots and branches, solar panels and shade, line trees, neighbors poisoning trees, hazardous trees, view, arboriculture malpractice, utility line clearance, trees blocking stop signs, roots v. sidewalks, and a list of state laws and order which impact arboriculture.

There are issues in that list that involve surveying and applying the location of trees and branches in relation to property lines.

Thanks for the heads up. This looks like an excellent addition to our library. The District is continually running into brush and tree problems.

I have the book and refer to it often. Randall Stamen is a very knowledgeable expert on California laws related to trees.

I have worked with him on several cases over the years. He is a knowledgable individual and the book is a great tool.
