The OSGeo is a non-profit organization that promotes open source geospatial software. One of my volunteer gigs is as the editor of the OSGeo Journal.

I'd like to let my friends at CLSA know that Volume 11 of the OSGeo Journal has been released. This volume includes an article about the application of the open source desktop GIS OpenJUMP to the management of sanitary sewer networks. It also has a beginners article on working with KML in the Ruby programming language.

For the time being, you can download Volume 11 from this folder of the SVN:
http://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/journal/volu ... aster_pdf/

The file is 14 MB, so it takes a minute to download.

I'm also in the process of trying to post each of the articles on the
Journal blog:

Thanks.
