Today I'm pleased to release Version 1.01 of the California Central Valley Control Network.

You can download the new map book sheets for this version of the network here:

This release adds six (6) secondary survey control points established during work volunteers from the CLSA Central Valley Chapter performed this summer during work to tie centerline monuments in for San Joaquin County chip seal projects. The new points are on the same epoch date as the previous release of the network, which contained only primary control points (active stations).

This release features maps and tables for both the primary and secondary control points.

I'll be working on datasheets for the secondary control points this spring. KSN has also agreed to donate some static GPS data from survey work conducted in the Delta north of Tracy this past fall, so I'll be integrating those control points into the next release of the network.

Here is what you don't have yet:

- A description of control point classifications shown in the tables.
- Data sheets for the secondary control point.
- Field notes and TBC files for the secondary points.

I'll try to work on some of the missing items next week.

I hope to get the back-up data online soon. Let me know if you'd like to donate static data from your surveys to the network. All you have to do is have a GPS receiver running on a control point in the Central Valley. I'll take care of the rest.

Landon

PS - I'd like to thank KSN for donating the equipment and software available to complete this work.
