Three--Between different measurements which are inconsistent with each other, that of angles is paramount to that of surfaces, and that of lines paramount to both.
What is meant by "surfaces".

has to do with area.

Angles = direction
Lines = distance
Surfaces = area

Thanks Clark. All the answers seem to be an opinion. Evan did a great evaluation and provided a form of deductive proof and the definitions make sense but are they accepted by everyone.
Maybe they were the 11th-15th commandments. :)
