Interesting stamping

Our crew found this monument the other day. No Reference as of right now, but our research has only just begun!

It's a little hard to read once you zoom in. Can you confirm what the stamping is?

Aluminum cap stamped "LS 3827 per LS 2767".
My thinking is that LS 3827 took over a project of LS 2767 and accepted LS 2767's position of the corner?
We will see. I'm not doing a boundary survey, only for monument preservation.

how about 3827 set it under the direction of 2767?
