OC Public Works has an excellent opportunity for a SURVEY PARTY CHIEF to perform a variety of surveying and mapping related tasks using the latest in Surveying Equipment and software technology to provide land surveying and mapping services to facilitate the design and construction of capital improvement projects. In addition to boundary, construction, control, and global positioning, topographic, and right‐of‐way surveys. The agency also provides, as‐built and quantity survey reports; and other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will be a motivating and detail-oriented individual with at least five years of survey experience or one year as a Surveyor II, who can professionally and effectively communicate with others. In addition, this individual will possess a valid Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate issued by the CA Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
