I am the GIS Technician for the Town of Yarmouth, Massachusetts, secretary of the Cape Cod Chapter of MALSCE, and current candidate for the Master of Geographic Information Systems degree at The Pennsylvania State University. The title of my MGIS capstone project is "The Undivided Garment: Plats, Parcel Fabric, and GIS." It will examine the relationship between the land surveying and GIS professions, with a focus on the potential impact of the ArcGIS® Parcel Fabric dataset on that relationship.[/font]
