** Position will cover the Northern California territory; working from home. **

The Licensed Land Surveyor will be outdoors performing various surveying tasks. Most projects will consist of ALTA surveys and elevation certificates but may include other forms of field surveying as needed. Experience with boundary surveying is a must. Licensed Land Surveyor reviews or provides the work performed by all Field Tech's and drafting technicians on appropriate boundary solutions, review and certify that written descriptions of land and completed survey work conform to the technical standards of the State of California, ALTA/ACSM Minimum Technical Standards and legal requirements.
Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of property and terrain. Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods, using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data processing. Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
Qualifications

- California State Licensed Surveyor is required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, GPS and robotic systems is required
- Proficient in computer skills
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to research survey related documents through public access and the internet
- Must have a clean DMV record
- 25%-50% of Travel Required
