Does anybody know of a place in CA to send these batteries (part #571204270) to be rebuilt?
Thanks

Soldering would be the easy part. Cutting the case open and gluing it closed again would seem to be more difficult, though I've never tried it.

That was my biggest issue with having battery pacs rebuilt. On my 2nd EDM I took the time to carefully open the cases myself and told the battery replacement people "DO NOT GLUE CLOSED" in the instructions and a tag on the battery pac. I then resealed them myself using a silicone instead of a hot glue.

I am not sure the type of battery you are referring to by the number, but, I have had my Trimble robotics (5600) off-board batteries recelled at "batteries plus". They took them apart and replaced the internal battery for less than 1/2 of buying a new one. You might want to check it out?

For those of you guys with Trimble 5600, what was your experience with recelling the 2' power stick (571126309)?

The battery housing opened one after other because these guys used cheap glue, very disappointed.
