How many of you had to supply a list of ALL of your equipment for them?
After several months of coverage they now need a list because the financial company financing my new instrument needs more info. Mind you, the financial company authorized and has been financing one piece of equipment for the past six months.

I have had 2 ins cos and both required a equipment inventory, office and field. It's a good idea anyway so if your vehicle is stolen you have a list to hand the adjuster - "read and weep".

Thanks LB, I do understand the value of a list, after the fact, it is hard. Not just a business, but for your home too. Growing up we had a garage fire and trust me, trying to remember every automotive tool to inventory is real hard.

This all started because the financial company started taking out additional funds automatically each month ($128) to cover insurance on the lease they are funding. I questioned it nearly four weeks ago, and it was due to them never receiving, or asking for an insurance certificate from Vista Intern.

If Vista wanted a list, I'm just wondering why they were now asking for one six months later, and initiated because they need to deliver a certificate of insurance? Heck I'm only leasing one item, being an instrument.

Late this morning I received an updated e-mail that now they don't need an inventory list, and they sent a revised insurance certificate to the financial institution. Still waiting to heard back if the certificate is satisfactory now.

I feel like I'm not getting the best service, and have some doubts, but then they have bigger firms that pay a lot more than little ole me. I just hope this isn't the kind of attention and service I receive if I truly need their representation.

Everything, even the software we are requested to use is geared toward big companies even though small businesses outnumber big ones 10 to 1.
I was with Zurich for years then they subd me out to a different company each of the last 2 years. I'm now with a Farmers sub. BTW Farmers is owned by Zurich, I think they own everyone.

Ins cos and banks are weird. Years ago I bought a truck and my bank at first agreed to finance it then notified the dealer they would only loan for 24 months not 36 so the dealer sent the app to B of A and they accepted the loan. Well my ins coverage went to the first bank and I never thought to send it to BofA. 6 months later BofA contacts me and wants ins. So my agent sends it to them. Not happy they demanded it be backdated to the day I bought the truck. WTF ever, didn't mean any addl cost to me, even the agent was perplexed.
