We are looking for a person to fill a CAD position in our firm and are open to a crew chief/CAD option since we have large projects in the works. We are a growing company, and just opened a Los Olivos office. However, we also have an office in Santa Barbara where we have a CAD station if that works better for you.
We use Carlson Survey with AutoCAD embedded and we can train you on Carlson first in our Los Olivos Office. This position is temporary unless the workload permits a more permanent position.

Minimum qualifications:
A TOTAL of 3 years of CAD experience (in Engineering and/or Surveying) Carslon Survey preferred but not needed.
Experience with contouring and topographic mapping*
Experience with compiling deeds
Experience with ALTA Surveys
Must have these skills: Can work as a team member focus on solving problems, not blaming others
Good written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Work, Excel skills (minimal)
Familiar with windows explorer, Outlook email, and basic computer skills
Can read/write English and lift up to 30lbs
Driver's License
Preferences:
5 years or more experience
Individuals with a L.S. license or L.S.I.T certification
Star*Net use
Construction calculation experience
Boundary resolution and surveying experience
Record of Survey/ Tentative/Final Mapping experience
Individuals not meeting the minimum requirement will not be called.
