RBF Consulting, a Company of Michael Baker International, has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Surveying Geomatics / Senior Project Manager (Technical Manager II) to lead and grow our Surveying Geomatics team in Northern California. The senior Surveying Geomatics leader could be located in either our Sacramento or Walnut Creek, CA office.
Responsibilities will include leading a team of office and field surveyors in all aspects of surveying geomatics for a variety of private and public sector infrastructure improvement projects, developing scopes of work, budgets and schedules, and managing and mentoring technical staff. The Manager of Surveying Geomatics / Senior Project Manager will provide successful marketing and business development for the Surveying Geomatics business group including: cultivating and maintaining client relationships, preparation of proposals, identification of future work, market research, marketing event attendance, and active participation and leadership in professional associations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a number of existing projects while helping RBF grow its business in the Northern CA region.

Requirements:
- Professional Land Surveyor License in California
- Four-year degree
- Minimum of ten (10) years of Surveying Geomatics experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Minimum of five (5) years of Surveying Geomatics project management experience
- Demonstrated success in managing a group of office and field surveyors
- Demonstrated success in marketing and business development
- Excellent communication skills and public speaking ability
- Intimate knowledge / relationships with potential clients in Northern CA
- Successful management and delivery of projects in Northern CA
- Experience in the preparation of business / strategic plans
- Strong project financial management skills
- Community and professional leadership
