I think that one of the most interesting parts of doing a boundary survey is re creating the geometry of the record map using found monuments to do so.

I am doing one now that involves found original tags, pipes, ties and also city work (that leaves a lot to be desired) in Glendale.

The frontage street starts off with an offset CL , (7.5' east and 14' west) then heads north through various curves, which are not parallel or concentric to CL. Add in some E/W discrepancies of about 0.3' and a N/S discrepancy of +/- 1 foot.

LOL 27 mons later and still trying to tie down the PIQ.

The worst thing about that is making the decision on what to hold and hopefully not having someone contradict that decision.

We need a "best fit" program. LOL
