Immediate Opening for Licensed Surveyor!

Bay Area Land Surveying, Inc provides comprehensive land surveying services to residential and commercial clients. We have specialized in Condominium Subdivisions throughout San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, for over twenty years.
We are in search of a California Licensed Professional Land Surveyor, with experience mapping in the Bay Area, and with established skills creating Parcel Maps, Condo Plans, ALTAs, Boundary and Topographic surveys, monitoring surveys and construction staking. The ideal candidate is proactive and has excellent boundary resolution skills. This is a full time position at our El Sobrante office.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Registration as a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor by the State of California.
• Effective written, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team involving staff, clients and outside agencies.
• Able to acquire, process, analyze and compile data to prepare variety of finished map types.
• Thorough knowledge of mapping and survey standards and survey principles, field measurements, boundary law, and construction surveys.
• Flexibility to work long hours / overtime, if needed.
• Strong organizational skills, including an ability to prioritize activities and work with limited supervision.
• Current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with all aspects of Primary Software Systems, including but not limited to:
-AutoCAD Land Desktop 2.
-Carlson Survey with Intellicad 2014.
-Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
