Promoting CLSA

I have suggested on numerous occasions to the Central Office and the Executive Board that we, as an association, need to do a better job of promoting land surveying and CLSA. Unfortunately, I have not received a response and all indications are I will not receive one.
The magazine just received the email below from the Tennessee Association. This type of response of fairly typical. I am wondering why CLSA is not interested in positive promotion of itself and the profession. I have several lectures scheduled across the country on this topic. It is unfortunate there is no interest here in California. Instead, we are hiring lawyers to facilitate throwing active members out. I don't get it.
