Seeking a Party Chief

Slooten Consulting, Inc. is seeking a qualified party chief to work out of their Sacramento office. We are a multifaceted land surveying firm working in all aspects of surveying. A successful candidate should have experience with all aspects of surveying, including ALTA/ACSM surveys, topographic surveys, record of surveys, parcel maps, and monument setting and elevation certificates.
We are seeking a professionally minded, motivated individual to run a crew on a daily basis. Must be familiar with basic boundary and legal principles and be able to perform the required duties at a high level immediately. Must be able to think on their feet in the field and be able to adapt to changing conditions to get the job done. Familiar with Trimble equipment is a plus. Must work well with others and exhibit a willingness to work as a team member. Office and CAD experience is a plus but not necessary. Exhibiting professional growth in the surveying profession is also a plus. Occasional out of town travel is required.
