Congrats to the new licensees! We have two up here in Humboldt County, that I know of... I would like to get them something nice to congratulate them. Does anyone have any suggestions for good Land Surveyor gifts that they have received (or would like to)? Consider something that you use frequently for your daily practice...

How about a plumb bob and a tack ball?

A copy of the Pincushion Effect by Jeff Lucas would be appropriate for newly minted practitioners.

How about a nice gift for those who didn't pass? Something like what they scored on the test? Or maybe a cut score? Or maybe the ability to appeal the test?

I would have liked to receive a set of my own number/letter sets for stamping monuments. Something you don't think about when newly licensed.

Just a thought and congratulations to the new professionals.

New numbers posted?

I have a friend who received an email telling him he passed but it doesn't appear that the numbers are up on the website yet. We are all checking almost hourly to find out his number.

Congrats to all of the new land surveyors!
