Your clients will include Affordable Housing Developers and Operators, Local Public Agencies, Water Districts and Transportation agencies.[/font]
[font="]Essential Responsibilities[/font][font="][/font]
[font="]· Review of legal descriptions and plat maps;[/font]
[font="]· Review of vesting deeds and easement documentation;[/font]
[font="]· Review of acquisition documents with respect to construction trades and practices;[/font]
[font="]· Review of Caltrans right of way acquisition maps;[/font]
[font="]· Mapping through AutoCAD and Microstation;[/font]
[font="]· Preparation of Estimates for construction and land valuation;[/font]
[font="]· Data entry through Arc GIS software;[/font]
[font="]· Field reviews for property acquisitions;[/font]
[font="]· Technical document preparation[/font]
[font="]Skills and Knowledge[/font][font="][/font]
[font="]· Moderate understanding of right of way, property boundary, and easement principles with respect to Caltrans requirements and Brown / Robillard / Wilson literature;[/font]
[font="]· Moderate understanding of subdivision mapping and mapping closures;[/font]
[font="]· Basic to moderate understanding of title research;[/font]
[font="]· Moderate understanding of Roadway and Transportation Design with respect to Caltrans and Orange County requirements;[/font]
[font="]· Moderate understanding of the land development design and entitlement process;[/font]
[font="]· Moderate understanding of AutoCAD and Microstation software;[/font]
[font="]· Excellent verbal and written ability, interpersonal attitude, and organizational habits;[/font]
[font="]· Understanding of ArcGIS Software a plus;[/font]
[font="]· Understanding of Microsoft Access Software a plus[/font]
[font="]Experience and Education[/font][font="][/font]
[font="]· College Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or Civil Engineering preferred.[/font]
[font="]· 1-3 years of experience within the construction, engineering, surveying, and/or title company trades.[/font]
[font="]Designations/ Licenses[/font][font="][/font]
[font="]· Possession of a Land Surveying or Civil Engineering In Training (LSIT / EIT) Certificate preferred Possession of a California Professional Land Survey (PLS) or Civil Engineering License (PE) a plus.[/font]
