Steve, as a quick aside, I love your avatar. My brother, a writer, was very close to Charles Schulz. He remains close to Monty Schulz, Charles' son. They get together frequently. My brother and Monty teach writing.

Hats off to the student chapter for putting on what will certainly be a great event. They deserve 110% credit for THEIR conference.

Mike,

I am looking forward to the conference.

When the new forum software was rolled out, I was looking for an avatar small enough to meet the pixel limit and I think I was just the first one to grab it.

Steve, as you know Schulz drew a lot of surveyor cartoons. Years ago I coordinated with some cartoons over National Surveyors Week. He was a real nice guy.

I may have misidentified the origins of this year's conference. It is not the OC Chapter but it is CPP Student Chapter! Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Correction: The conference is being put on by the CPP Chapter and not OC. Sorry for any confusion.
