Survey Party Chief:
PACE Engineering, Inc. is a multifaceted engineering and surveying firm in northern California that has interest in interviewing career-oriented candidates having an AS or BS degree in Geomatics or another related field associated with land surveying. PACE offers the opportunity for all employees to take on responsibilities in both the office and field environments to allow for professional growth.
General Summary of Position
· Leading field crews to perform field surveys
· Clear brush, drive stakes, set signs and posts, etc.
· Perform land survey work using prudent surveying practices and various types of equipment.
· Perform incidental clerical and custodial duties to upkeep survey vehicles.
· Perform assignments under the direction of a supervisor and project staff.
· Drafting, mapping, and research
Skills and Abilities Desired
· Familiarity with GNSS, Robotic, and terrestrial LiDAR survey equipment and supporting software
· Experience with AutoCAD C3D (Microstation V8i is a plus)
· Valid California Driver’s license (Required)
· Ability to learn and a desire to grow professionally
· Possession of an L.S.I.T. or E.I.T. is required, Professional licensure is preferred
