Pacific Affiliates Inc. is looking for Professional Land Surveyor for its Eureka, CA based office. Pacific Affiliates is a full service engineering firm with business operations in 16 western states, British Columbia and Guam. Land Surveyor will be asked to participate in projects located throughout Northern California (north of San Jose to Oregon border and East to CA/NV line), and to work with Pacific Affiliates’ sister company in land development.

Job Description:
Individual will oversee, manage, and perform necessary tasks for our survey related projects. Applicant shall have a strong understanding and ability to complete the following tasks:
• Boundary analysis calculations
• Legal descriptions
• Topographic Surveys
• Bathymetric Surveys
• ALTA Surveys
• Record maps (Final Maps, Parcel Maps & Records of Survey)
• Ensure all projects are completed with respect to the company policy and production standards.
• Keep Project Manager, Field and or Office Coordinator informed on status of all assigned projects and tasks.
• Coordinate projects with title companies and/or government agencies.
• Review the work of Draftsmen/women, and provide on-going mentoring.
Employee Role:
• The Professional Licensed Land Surveyor will report to the President.
Experience:
• Must hold a valid license to practice Land Surveying in the State of California
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of current survey computer software applications (Leica desired).
• Knowledge of HyPack Software and Etrac desired, but not required
• Working knowledge of modern survey methods and equipment.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player.
• Excellent organizational skills are necessary to be able to juggle multiple priorities/projects, each with schedules and budgets.
