Did anyone see Parade Magazine today?

Mapping used to be exclusively done by surveyors. Today, everyone makes maps.

Mapping is not exclusively done by surveyors. Cartographers have always made maps.

You should worry more about Joseph Elfelt.

It appears the Board is going after Mr. Elfelt.

I can't understand how they could. It looks to me like he is going after them!

Mr. Elfelt is appellant from the Board decision, or plaintiff in the action brought in Superior Court

Old news, apparently. The Board went after him just over 2 years ago.

Michael,

That tentative ruling is a virtual primer on Administrative law. It seems Mssr. Elfelt has been exercising all available remedies, in whatever venue he feels appropriate.

Q: Where is your service available?
A: Our service is available for land everywhere in the USA except land in the state of California. Service for land in the state of California might be restored in the future.

Maybe someone should send a copy of that citation and a printout of that web page Gary posted to the rest of the states' boards and see how he comes out. He probably can't afford to file suit in every state.

Better yet, place an order for some California property...

http://www.propertylinemaps.com/p/plm_order.html
===============
Steps for placing an order - Updated December 27, 2014
Step 1 Please read our terms of service.
Step 2 You email to us information about your property. See details below. Do not pay us yet.
Step 3 We will evaluate that information and tell you whether or not we can produce approximate corner coordinates that meet our standards. Sometimes we will ask for additional information.
Step 4 If we tell you that we can process your property, then you use the PayPal button (at the bottom of this page) to pay for your order. Paying through PayPal does not cost you anything. And all you need is a credit card. You do not need a PayPal account.
Step 5 PayPal automatically sends us an email when you pay. After PayPal notifies us of the payment then we will process your order and send you the results. Most orders are completed within 24 hours from when we receive notice of your payment from PayPal. Special orders usually take another day.
================
stop after step 4 if you like :-)
