Party Chief and Survey Technician

Ten year engineering and land surveying firm is seeking a party chief with extensive knowledge in construction staking surveys and a survey technician
Company location: San Gabriel Valley
Work location: Greater Los Angeles Area and Greater San Bernardino Area
Party Chief Wanted
Key Requirements for this position:
• LSIT preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of Land Surveying experience preferred.
• Field and Office skills are required for this position.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in Client contact and development is a plus.
• Possess working knowledge of StarNet/StarLev least squares adjustment software
• MS Word and Excel proficient
Responsibilities:
• The position will entail working on a team with other land surveyors on field and office work on Topographic, Boundary, ALTA, Control, GPS and construction staking surveys.
• Candidate will focus on constructions staking primarily
• Train and manage staff
• Build field surveying, drafting, and office calculations protocol and procedures
• Prepare and provide engineering/survey proposals
• Will work closely with Licensed Land Surveyor
Survey Technician Wanted
