Below is a link to the new Elevation Certificate that Stephen Ward of Tennessee fixed to be a fillable PDF. The directions are on the FEMA site, if you need them. He still might be making adjustments, so you may want to check the site for revisions on occasion the next few days and please thank him.

When I use the form I have trouble with the bullets. Once I turn on a bullet I cannot turn it off.

The change to legal-size paper was one of the dumbest decisions FEMA has made in the evolution of the EC. It pretty much guarantees that henceforth every EC will be delivered in a folded condition.

Yes Jim, I agree that the legal size paper is the dumbest thing FEMA has done in years.
Luckily I was given a couple reems of 8.5" x 14" since legal size paper is a big waste.

I also think FEMA dropped the ball by not having a fillable pdf prior to the approval and use of the new EC.
As for the survey connect link for a fillable pdf, it is not bad except for the large square bullits to check. I contacted FEMA and they are working on their own fillable pdf, so stay tuned.

The new one on the FEMA site is 8.5 x 11 sheets. Thank goodness!
